Vision
Our vision is a world where autistic individuals are embraced for their diversity and celebrated for their strengths. Through our documentary and ongoing initiatives, we aim to create a society where every person on the autism spectrum is valued, supported, and given opportunities to thrive in all aspects of life.
Mission
We are committed to fostering understanding and acceptance of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) through awareness, education, and advocacy. Our mission is to provide a platform for autistic adults to share their unique perspectives, experiences, and talents, empowering them to advocate for themselves and others within the autism community.
Goals
- Raise Awareness: Increase public understanding and awareness of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) by disseminating accurate information through our documentary, website, social media channels, and community events.
- Empowerment: Empower autistic adults to share their stories, perspectives, and talents, providing them with a platform to amplify their voices and advocate for their needs and rights.
- Education: Provide resources, workshops, and educational materials to promote understanding and acceptance of autism among individuals, families, educators, and professionals.
- Community Engagement: Foster a supportive and inclusive community for autistic individuals, their families, caregivers, and allies through events, forums, and online networks, promoting collaboration, connection, and mutual support.
- Access to Services: Advocate for improved access to healthcare, education, employment, and support services tailored to the unique needs of autistic individuals, promoting inclusion and equal opportunities for all.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other organizations, institutions, and stakeholders in the autism community to leverage resources, share best practices, and drive systemic change towards a more inclusive and supportive society for individuals with ASD.
- Policy Advocacy: Advocate for policies and legislation that promote the rights, dignity, and well-being of autistic individuals, ensuring their full inclusion and participation in all aspects of society
Documentary
Join us on a journey through our documentary as we strive to unravel the intricacies of Autism from the unique perspective of individuals with autism themselves. Our goal is to shed light on what it truly means to be on the spectrum, fostering understanding and a sense of community for those with friends or family members navigating the challenges of autism.
Too often, families grappling with autism find themselves isolated due to unjust stigmatization. Children on the spectrum may endure bullying and abuse, which is wholly unacceptable and detrimental to their overall well-being. We firmly believe that stigmatization is inhumane, and we're committed to breaking down these barriers.
In many parts of Africa, children with autism face additional hurdles, as the general population lacks the necessary awareness and tools to comprehend and address the disorder. Our mission is to bridge this knowledge gap and empower communities to support individuals with autism effectively.
